Day 1
Arrival Delhi
Pick up from the Delhi airport and then you shall be transferred to the Delhi hotel. Later you shall proceed for the sightseeing tour of Delhi. Briefing (Delhi):Delhi is the capital of India and its third largest city. The city's importance lies not just in its past glory as the seat of empires and magnificent monuments, but also in the rich and diverse cultures. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting India gate, Parliament Building, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid & Chandni Chowk. Red Fort:Red Fort or Lal Quila as it is more popularly known is a masterpiece of architecture and one of the most haunting spots for tourists from both India and abroad. This colossal fort on the banks of the river Yamuna, built by Shahjahan as the citadel of the 17th Century Delhi is a significant link between the past and the present, for it is from here that the prime minister of India addresses the people on the Independence Day. India Gate: It is a majestic high arch, 42 meters high, built as a memorial to the Indian soldiers killed in the World War I. It is called the All India War Memorial. The foundation stone was laid by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Connaught in 1921 and was designed by Edwin Lutyens. Parliament Building: Parliament Building known as Sansad Bhawan. It is a place where the world’s largest democracy functions. Entrance in parliament requires the letter of introduction which is in the form of official permission Qutub Minar:The word 'Qutub' itself means 'pole of justice.' The Qutub Minar made of red sandstone rising to the height of 72.5mts is an architectural marvel of the 13th century. It is situated in Delhi. It is constructed by Qutb-ud-din Aibak in the 12th century to celebrate the victory of Mohammed Ghori over the Rajputs and was completed in the 13th century by his successors. Rashtrapati Bhavan: It is the house of president of India built in british period, designed by Edwin Lutyens. Jama Masjid: It is the largest mosque in India. Located in Old Delhi, the mosque has the capacity to accommodate 25000 devotees. Jama Masjid was completed in 1656 AD and it was again the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan behind this architectural masterpiece. Close to some 5000 craftsmen were involved in the construction of the mosque. The mosque is a real example of great architecture that existed during the Mughal period. It has the blend of both Hindu and Mughal style of architecture. (To be viewed from outside. Humayun's Tomb: Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's son Akbar in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect chosen by Bega Begum. Return back to the hotel. Overnight will be at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2
Delhi – Mussoorie
Later proceed to drive to Mussoorie. Late afternoon arrive in Mussoorie & check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3
Mussoorie - Local sightseeing
After breakfast excursion to Dhanaulti which is 33 kms away and to the ancient mountain top shrine of Surkhanda Devi, climbing upto 9700 feet 2940 meters. Deodar and Pine Trees, beautiful valleys, snow capped mountains. Also visit the famous Kemtey fall, evening enjoy at mall road, back to the hotel. Overnight at Mussoorie.
Day 4
Mussoorie – Corbett
After breakfast check out from hotel then drive to Corbett National Park. The park was named after Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer who spent most years of his life in this area and helped set up this park. Check-in to your hotel/resort. Evening free for sightseeing covering Garjia temple and Corbett fall. Dinner and overnight stay in Corbett.
Day 5
Corbett – Ranikhet
Morning Enjoy the Jungle Jeep Safari After Safari Have Breakfast and drive to Ranikhet covering-Kanchi temple-visit to Kumaon regional centre-Golf ground-Night halt at hotel Ranikhet. Overnight stay in Ranikhet.
Day 6
Ranikhet – Kausani
After breakfast depart to kausani. Afternoon will visit Baijnath temple. Here you will see many ancient idols and will also come across mahashir fish in the river waters. At the end of your visit, take your time to look at the setting sun and finally the sunset. Also visit Anashakti Ashram where Mahatama Gandhi stayed for few days. It will be a memorable evening. Have dinner and rest for the night at kausani.
Day 7
Kausani – Nainital
After breakfast depart for Nainital. Onway visit Almora. Arrive Nainital and check in at hotel Evening visit Naini lake(at their own), Mall road, Naini Devi temple, Tibetan market etc., Overnight stay at Nainital hotel.
Day 8
Nainital - Local sightseeing
After breakfast drive for lake tour of Bhimtal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal. Drive back to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 9
Nainital – Delhi
Morning drive to Delhi (320 kms / 9 hrs. ). Arrive Delhi in time Board Flight / Train for onward journey.
