Shillong Kaziranga Guwahati Tour

Meet & greet on arrival at Guwahati airport & transfer to Shillong. Capital of Meghalaya. Also known as “The Abode of Clouds”, one of the smallest states in India. It is the headquarters of the East Khasi Hills district and is situated at an average altitude of 4,908 feet (1,496 m) above sea level, with the highest point being Shillong Peak at 6,449 feet (1,966 m). Enroute visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. Overnight in Shillong.

After an early breakfast proceed to Cherrapunjee (56 km), the wettest place on earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see the roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey. Watch the Dein-Thlen Falls, Noh-Khalikai Falls, Noh-Sngithiang Falls and also drive to the Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park and the Living root Bridge. Return to Shillong. En route visit the Shillong Peak. Overnight at Shillong.

After breakfast proceed for full day local sightseeing places covering Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Lady Hydari Park, Laitumkhrah Cathedral, Wards Lake, Golf Course, State Museum. Overnight stay at Shillong.

After breakfast proceed for Kaziranga- the home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros”. Kaziranga National Park is a national park in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, India.Check into hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Kaziranga hotel.

After an early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Central Range (Kohora) for an Elephant Ride. After the ride return back to the Resort. After lunch Evening drive to the Central Range of the park for a jeep safari & also visit Assamese Ethnic Village. Overnight stay in resort in Kaziranga.

After breakfast check out from  hotel and drive back to Guwahati. Check in Hotel. Evening you may visit ‘Kalakshetra’, a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast checkout from hotel, visit Kamakhya temple, Navagraha temple, Umananda temple, Balaji Temple, State Zoo. Evening get transfer to Guwahati Airport/ Rly station for onward journey.
